Tuesday: Sports Day

Nursing Home Week continued with a high-energy Sports Day. Staff members displayed their team spirit by donning their favorite sports team jerseys and t-shirts. The day’s culinary delights included offerings from In-N-Out Burger, Wingstop, Pizza, and a refreshing Boba truck. Competitive spirits were high as staff engaged in a planking contest, push-up contest, and lively games of soccer and basketball. A thrilling scavenger hunt added to the day’s excitement, with one lucky staff member winning a coveted Peloton bike, much to the envy and delight of their colleagues.

Wednesday: Western Day

Staff members tried their hand at the “shootin’” gallery, participated in a horse race contest, and enjoyed the classic game of horseshoes. A photo booth captured the day’s fun, with participants donning cowboy hats and boots for a memorable keepsake. The menu featured mouthwatering nachos, delectable brownies, cookies, and refreshing Root Beer floats served in souvenir cowboy boot mugs.
