I don’t live in California, so I found MVHC initially on the internet. That beautiful courtyard is what attracted me. My cousin suffers dementia, we had no choice but assisted living. To my surprise, initially my cousin got physically healthier — she had been living alone and was not taking great care of herself. Once she settled into MVHC, her skin tone, her hair, her weight, all better and much healthier than when she arrived. And that courtyard is wonderful, beautiful flowers, plenty of places to sit. We spent more than one afternoon there, and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The staff at MVHC are wonderful. They brought my cousin’s lunch out to the courtyard for her the last time I visited, being accomodating to make sure she ate. She also celebrated her birthday and had cake there. You get the idea, the staff go the extra step to provide an amazing service. Among others, whose names I do not know and who also deserve our thanks, I especially want to thank Rosa, Annie and Sehar. Update: my cousin passed last night at age 89. Again, MHVC was there, contacting all of us when she entered Hospice, and throughout the process, and assisting us to the end. Thanks to all of you at MHVC for looking out for our loved one with such care.
